Favorite Thrash Vocalist? (Christian or Secular)

Ha!  My church is quite far from the seeker-friendly rock 'n roll concert "worship" too: we sing hymns with only a piano for instrumentation.  That should help enhance your imagining hahaha...

Nah, Guy is much, much closer to King Diamond than Rob Halford.

I have heard that comparison several times. Never listened to King Diamond though because of the satanic themes

Chuck Billy is near the top of my list.

Listening to Valley of Achor and Effervescent Torrent by Adorned Graves reminds me that Dale Thompson can be an incredible thrash vocalist too

Never really listened to thrash cuz of a killer vocalist, but I guess the best I've heard is Jimmy Brown.  I would also list Chuck Billy from the earlier days of the band as high quality.

Without a single doubt, Warren from Tempest. Where else are you going to hear thrash metal with hellfire-and-brimstone preaching being yelled over it? Even the songs with normal singing like this one are just so extremely confrontational. It's what I love in thrash.

You might want to check out 3 Inches of Blood.

I'm not too familiar with them but I've loved some of their songs I've heard.
They used to have two vocalists. One did falsettos and one did growling and screaming vocals. I love the falsetto vocals!!

They are not a pure thrash band but more of a speed/thrash/power hybrid.

Philly Byrne (Gama Bomb)

Chuck Billy and Bobby Blitz are legendary of course.

Sanchez is a good choice, as is Eric A.K.

Jimmy P. Brown II has a great voice for thrash, slower heavy metal, anything. He can perfectly pull off high notes, low notes, growly singing, and sound great either way.

JPB II is just an all-around great vocalist.

Eric A.K.’s vocals on Doomsday and No Place for Disgrace are untouchable (in my opinion). His voice could hit some amazingly high notes in addition to his overall aggressive attack. The guy is a powerhouse! 

He also conveys the feeling of the songs perfect (like he means it).

Eric A.K. is fantastic on The Cold (2010) too.

That's an amazing album. One of the best modern metal albums.

Eric A.K. is great and criminally underrated. I love the grit and depth of his performances - especially starting with Cuatro. (Still my fav Flotsam album).

That was my favorite but the self titled has moved to that spot.

Well said! 

He definitely developed a “gritty” style starting with Cuatro. Previously he was a Halford-esque vocalist. Either way, I love his style and talent.

Cuatro was my first Flotsam album, but the first song I heard by them is “I Live You Die” (which is my all time favorite).

The Cold is their best album of the modern era. Excellent production and performance.

While Eric A.K. Is my favorite secular metal/thrash singer, Jimmy P. Brown is my favorite Christian metal vocalist. 

That said, Guy Ritter is great too! Especially his performance on Psycho Surgery and Pathogenic.
