True. I've stared at the cover for Lament for the whole song that was playing once.

I'm listening to this one again currently.  So good.  Lyrics-wise it's all quite personal and a couple songs are about the loss of Ian's mom.  The last track seems to be addressing the backlash Ian received when he left the faith, and in another song there is one four-letter-word (s#!t), but otherwise I don't think anything folks here would object to.

I already thought I would, but your little review helped. I love the aspect that this album is very personal.

Hard pass. I have no interest in apostate metal.

Tough rule with so many in the Christian music scene.

Yeah it's totally unrelated.  I need to re-read that one, but it's about two people or groups of peoples and how they affect one another, like a lover taking advantage of someone else or politicians and the general public, etc.
